Project Description
Working directly for the E. & J. Gallo Winery alongside venerated architecture firm Gensler, VVH provided key entitlements, land surveying, and civil engineering services for this landmark headquarters building. The Dry Creek Building complements existing structures and is a central location between multiple existing buildings on campus. Gallo believes in the importance of preserving and enhancing the land for future generations, and as such, VVH worked directly with ownership on several iterations of the building location to preserve dozens of treasured campus trees for posterity. Entitlements included annexation into the City of Modesto, abandonment of public roadways and easements, and permitting. Our team provided all land surveying and civil engineering services, including careful elevation monitoring of the historic Dry Creek Bridge during construction.
